Damascus, São Paulo, San Francisco. Medicine, bureaucracy, blockchains. Gi, canopy, bar counter. Different costumes, same habit — pick a hard thing, finish it, teach it.
I trained as a physician (MD, October 6 University, 2000–2006), then crossed into business. In São Paulo I ran Establish Brazil, a market-entry consultancy — a decade of helping foreign companies become real Brazilian entities, one registry at a time.
In 2018 I priced what breaks a blockchain’s trust: The Realistic Lucrative Case of Ethereum Classic Attack. Within months, Bitcoin Gold, MonaCoin, ZenCash, Verge, and Litecoin Cash were attacked along the model I proposed — tens of millions in losses across those networks. I had my fifteen minutes of fame as the perceived villain.
The current crossing is Entity.ID — universal identification for all entities, human and non-human. I’m raising for it in San Francisco; where it stands this month is on now.
The rest of me lives in the Crossings: three South American jiu-jitsu golds, a Category-C skydiving license, an international cocktail-competition final, marathons in São Paulo and Damascus, a flute I picked up in July 2026. A father, through all of it. What the crossings cost is in to my younger brother.
