Every crossing leaves something in us we can’t always name. I 📷 capture it, 🫒 root it, 🪂 free it — for me & you.
That is the whole method of this notebook. Observations enter as captures. The ones that survive get traced to their origin and become roots. A few grow strong enough to leave as free pieces. The rest compost. Nothing here is finished; everything here is growing.
A note passes through three states:
- 📷 Capture — the raw layer: the thing noticed before it’s understood. Dictated on a walk, filmed in a second, jotted before it evaporates.
- 🫒 Root — the middle layer: thinking from first principles, turning a capture into a model I can hold and reuse. One lesson per note.
- 🪂 Free — the release: once rooted, a note comes out as a poem, an essay, a design, a tool — and links back down its trail to the root it grew from.
Some notes free themselves on camera instead of paper — those are on Verse.
